Friday, Feb 9 – Arrive in Cairo…

  • Arrive Cairo – Where we’ll meet our guide and driver and transfer to the Four Seasons Cairo.

  • Dinner & Overnight in Cairo


Saturday, Feb 10 – Introduction to Cairo

  • Free morning for jet lag and tour in afternoon

  • Visit Museum of Egyptian Civilization home to 26 mummified Pharaohs

  • Tour “Garbage City” and visit Cave Church of St Simone

  • Sunset Falucca ride on the Nile

  • Cairo by Night Panoramic tour


Sunday, Feb 11 – Pyramids, Sphinx and Tutankhamen Treasures

  • Spend time at one of the seven wonders of the world - The Pyramids of Giza. Cheops, the largest pyramid ever built, had an original height of 496 feet,

  • Explore the Grand Egyptian Museum* which houses countless Egyptian treasures including those of the boy-king Tutankhamun *scheduled to open end of 2023


Monday, Feb 12 – Memphis and Sakkara

  • Ride to Memphis, founded around 3,100 BC, Memphis is the site of the ancient city of Menes, named after the King who united Upper and Lower Egypt.  From a Biblical perspective, Memphis is the most likely place where Abraham met Pharaoh and lied about his wife Sarah. It would also be where Joseph rose to second in command.  

  • While in Memphis we will view a very large and well preserved statue of Ramses II.

  • Explore Sakkara (aka Saqqara), one of the most extensive archaeological sites in Egypt and subject of a recent Netflix documentary - UNKNOWN; The Lost Pyramid.  

  • Sakkara is dominated by the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, dating back to 2700 BC. It is one of the oldest stone structures in the world.


Tuesday, Feb 13 – Fly to Aswan and Board Ship for our Nile Cruise

  • Transfer to Cairo airport for a 75 minute flight to Aswan.  

  • Upon arrival in Aswan we will visit the High Dam and the Phiale Temple Complex

  • Embarkation on board the 5-star Sonesta Star Goddess of for lunch.

  • Late afternoon felucca cruise around Kitchener's Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum.

  • Overnight onboard ship.


Wednesday, Feb 14 – Abu Simbel (Optional) and Nile Cruising

  • Free Morning or Optional morning flight to Abu Simbel for tour. Added cost $399.

  • Depart Aswan and cruise north on the Nile to Kom Ombo.

  • Visit the Temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haeroris.

  • Cruise to Edfu for tour and overnight


Thursday, Feb 15 – Edfu and Luxor

  • Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu.

  • Return to ship for sailing to Luxor.

  • Evening tour of the Temple of Luxor while illuminated.

  • Dinner on board


Friday, Feb 16 – Valley of Kings & Queens and Temple of Luxor

  • Cross to the west bank of the Nile to explore the Valley of the Kings & Queens, Temple of Hatshepsut and Memnon Colossi.

  • Lunch on board.

  • Free afternoon to stroll around the city

  • Dinner and overnight on board


Saturday, Feb 17 – Disembark, Fly Luxor to Cairo and Start the Journey Home / or connecting flight to Sharm El-Sheikh for the Mt Sinai & Red Sea Extension

  • Disembarkation after breakfast.

  • Explore the Temple of Karnak.

  • Visit the Luxor museum.

  • Transfer to Luxor airport for return flight to Cairo.

  • Visit the Turkish styles bazzars of Khan el Khalili.

  • Farewell dinner.

  • Return to Cairo airport for late night flights home.
